We ran accross this listing for a bungalow in West Hollywood and we thought, how cute! Bungalows like this are all over in Los Angeles, and this is such a creative way to convert a garage or a guest house into a creative studio or a home office.

Practical Home Office Desk For Living Environments

Buro is a home office furniture range designed by Keith Tay in collaboration with Habitat UK. Its concept allows to easily create the home office right in the middle of a living environment. In closed state it looks like usual side table but when you open the cover you get a great place to work. When the work is done you can close the cover and hide all clutter in a matter of seconds. Such practical solution is great for small spaces or just for lazy people who like a tidy interior but don’t like to clean the clutter right after they finish the work.

Accessory Building, designed by MGB Architecture, is a small home office located in a residential neighbored of the North Vancouver, Canada. The office is fully functional and besides a working space there are spaces for meetings and for relaxing. Public access from the street leads to a courtyard and mezzanine. The public side of the building is quite modest and tucks quietly into the topography very well. The interior millwork is very practical. It’s designed to maximize storage and minimize clutter. Large sliding doors open to expand the corner to the garden court. The garden features interesting vertical and horizontal planes that create a variety of weather protected spaces. The decking system connects different structures together.

Combination black and white colors with simple shape looks contemporary, even futuristic. Generally, this selection consists of rather big tables and different bookshelves, which could accomodate a lot of books, papers and other necessary stuff that every office has.

Unique Office Interior Design by Rottet Studio

Folks from Rottet Studio have been commissioned by Artis Capital Management to add a twist to their offices in San Francisco. And I think they found a great way to make it more home than office for the 14 people working there. Meant as a “white box”, the new office plays with materials, textures and colors, and brings the visually quiet environment a trading team would need. There’s a custom carpet that emulates water lapping on the shore, a dark gray cleft stone that surrounds the entire floor, and modern furniture for the work area. But the things that makes you think ‘I want a job there’, are the stunning views off the bustling city. Kudos to Rottet Studio for the sterling job they pulled off.
